JOA LiNFORD embodies in it's tradition the complete "Piano Man".
Influenced by the musical atmosphere of the early 80's he participated in many band- and performance
projects. In that time spontaneity and creativity particularly played an outstanding role.
JOA discovered already very early his musical strengths. With 6 years drum lessons for the first time,
then piano and singing lessons he soon perfected himself to an universal all-round musician..
His participation in the "Kontaktstudiengang Popularmusik" in Hamburg was just another milestone in his
musical career. It was followed by compositions for theatre and film, as well as international jobs as a
keyboarder in various pop/rock-acts.
After his four-month employment on board the cruise-ship AIDA (show ensemble) JOA resided for many years
on Mallorca inclusive numerous commitments of well-known pianos bars in exotic yachting ports.
Jam sessions for example with saxofon-player Malcom “Molly” Duncan, Egon Wellenbrink or Franky Gee
(CAPTAIN JACK) were at the agenda, as well as innumerable club gigs e.g. withVictoria Miles, the DRIFTERS Charles Rolles and Billy E. Thomson (SON AMAR).
JOA's wide-ranging musical experience as a pianist and singer made him an experienced and estimated entertainer,
whether solo at the piano, or as an enhanced live act together with his Band...
